How many books do you have out?

Four. The first two books of my fantasy series The One and the Other are out: The One-Sided Coin and The Damned Ones. I've also published a poetry chapbook titled Sensuality. and a full-length poetry collection Where Have We Come From, Where Are We Going?

Where did you get the concept for The One and the Other Series (TOATO)?

It came from a lot of different places, and this idea is so old I honestly can't remember what initially inspired. I do know that the Ghost is loosely inspired by the black smoke monster in Lost and it's called the Ghost because of the song "All That I'm Living For" by Evanescence. I had this idea in mind for years before I started writing it, so I really don't remember how I came up with all of it.

How long did it take you to write The One-Sided Coin?

5 years.

How many books will be in the series?

There will be five main books and a prequel in-between each main book, so nine in total. It's a lot!

What are you working on right now?

I am revising the next book in my series. Working title is The Metal Flower.

When will your next book come out?

I'm planning for a late 2024 release for The Metal Flower.

Can you critique my poetry?

Sorry, I do not have the time.

What is your poetry about?

I write about anything that comes to mind--my life, faith, history, politics, language, art, etc. I write both free verse and form.

Will you ever traditionally publish?

As of now I have no plan to.
